Many states have restrictions on the VOC percentage of reed diffusers. VOC's or Volatile Organic Compounds are compounds that are harmful and create indoor air quality problems. 3. Moderate Evaporation Rate
Unlike those contain alcohols like SDA 40b that evaporate very quickly or some carrier oil like sweet almond oil, fractionated coconut oil, argan oil or dpg are too viscous to adequately carry the fragrance through the reeds. How to Use
1. You will blend a mix of 34% essential oil or fragrance oil to 66% base oil. You can experiment with the percentages to see what works best for you.
2. Pour the mixture into your receptacle and place one end of the reeds or skewers into the solution, allowing it to saturate the reeds. Then take them out, and place the opposite ends into the bottle. Rotate which ends are in the scent solution about once a week.
